Who is the worst of the Serial Killers?  

I would have to say from your list of serial killers that Jeffrey Dahmer has to be the worst. He committed the most gruesome horrifying crimes thinkable. Makes me queasy thinking about it.

Zodiac and Jack the Ripper popped into mind just from the title, and before I saw the list. I also thought of HItler. He'd be the worst in my book, but maybe a mass mureder belongs in that category rather than a serial killer. From your list I think Ted Bundy was the freakiest.

Of all time? Erzebet Bathory without a doubt, the amount of murders she made isn't known but rises far beyond a hundred, estimates go as high as to 600 but since it happened about 400 years ago exact details are never to be known.

She murdered mainly girls and young women following she bathed in their blood and according to some she would even have drank it.

Since this occurred in Transylvania you can pretty much say that together with Vlad the impaler this woman better known as the blood countess set foot for the legendary myths of vampires.

The devil of the Andes for me comes in with a close second, being more recent and having killed from his own saying hundreds of girls.

Hitler has always been my 2nd favorite. He was a controlled serial killer, and he had a ton of people helping him. He slaughtered tons of his own kind, that's pretty brutal.
My top #1 serial killer of all time is--- Jason Vorhees.
My real life serial killer favorite is probably Jack the Ripper.

hhmm thats a tough one....not just because all that you listed are definately top of the line serial killers but there are so many others to choose from as well as those ya know (I'm a serious nut for this stuff)....Jackie boy (Jack the ripper) is definately a good pick IMO mainly because even all these yrs later nobody has any damn clue who he was...the perfect murderer IMO...I would have to say that some other good choices would be

Albert Fish who has been named the "Real" Hannibal the Cannibal then you have the Atlanta Child Killer who from what I understand may NTO have been found even though someone is in fact serving time for some of the killings.....then there is Aileen Wornous who some would say ISNT a serial killer but others see her as the first female serial killer....then there is Manson BUT I doubt I would include him since he TECHNICALLY didnt really kill anyone - why give him the "glory" so to speak......Um lets see..Dahmer for sure belongs up there and he is also a perfect example IMO of how karma will ALWAYS kick your a$$...Paul Bernado and his wife Karla Homolka I'd put up there too BUT thats becaue that is a case I was very familiar with since I am from the general area and lived in St. Catharines when all that was happening...

American serial killers are just a bit loony compared to some of the others around the world.
There is another one here in Canada who has killed at least 24 teens, and still calls up the families of his victims from his prison cell and torments them.
Then there is the guy in Russia who killed dozens before he was aprehended, because the soviets believed serial killing was simply a westerm phenomenon.
During wars amdsivil unrest there are dozens who surface, but are nevr caught, since they prey on the people most likely to be murde4red in the fighting any way, the women and children left alone.
There is also a serial killer in Africa right now who has killed dozens at least, but he is in such a remote area that the police won't even go looking for him.
And by the way, you can't take a serial killer's word for how many he has killed, since they tend to exagerate to make themselves seem worse than they are.

I have to say that I think each and every one of them is 'the worst'.....

It doesn't matter how they killed, who they are all as equally bad.

How can I say that 1 person who has killed 10 people is any worse than 1 person who claims to have killed 3000 people.....

I think they are all equally bad, as they prey on unsuspecting victims

Plus I can think of one on that list.....Dr. Death, Jack Kovarkian (sp), they may have come to him for assisted suicide, but they left dead, by a doctor who pledged to save lives... he helped kill them.

Well I think the worst is the first one on the list. About 3,000 murders? That's quite amazing to kill that many people. I guess to kill that many people he must've not had remorse nor pity. Jeffrey Dahmer comes in second. He ate them? That's pretty sick no doubt.
