My granddaughter is now 3  |

|  On Friday, my granddaughter, Samantha, turned 3. Her birthday party was on Saturday. She wanted to have a Tinkerbell party since she didn't get one last year due to the fact that we couldn't find the stuff. Well, this year we bought all the party stuff in Tinkerbell, but there were no cake decorations in Tinkerbell! My daughter went to Wal-Mart and paid $10 for a Tinkerbell "doll" to put on the cake.
Anyways, Samantha made out like bandit. She got a Tinkerbell table and chair set, a vaccum cleaner, the Happy Feet stuffed doll and blanket, pom poms, dress up jewelry and shoes, clothes, a train set, a baby doll, and a Littlest Pet Shop set. Her biggest gift was a bicycle and helmet. We wouldn't let her open the helmet until all the other presents were opened. Once she opened the helmet, she wouldn't turn around to see her bike! It was so funny. Once she saw the bike, she had to ride it!!
Anyways, here is a picture of Samantha just before she blew out her candle.
We served hamburgers,hot dogs, drinks and chips before we served the cake. Of course, only the adults and bigger "kids" ate. The little ones just wanted to run around and play, which is normal. Samantha only ate a bite of her cake before she was ready to open up her presents.

| |  Pfft!! Well, my first response went poof and disappeared, so if there's two of em, it's not my fault!! (pout).. anyway.. oh a Tinkerbell party, how cool, I LOVE Tinkerbell.. I'd have had a great time lol.. and it sounds like Samantha had a huge happy day.. and btw, how is her now-a-little-less-of-her grandmom doing?

| |  Aw bless, belated congratulations to her. It sounds as though she had a great time. My daughter is into the Disney princess things and it turned out to be very pricy getting her all that she wanted but after all they are only kids once. Glad she had a good day though. x

| |  that's so sweet! I can't remember what happened when I was 3. but i guess I had caught on to the idea that birthdays meant presents! now food has taken on a bigger role, and sometimes it's worth gathering over food for one's birthday, even if the treat is the present!
thanks for sharing, Happy birthday Samantha too! Tinkerbell is a cute character to like. She has spunk and isn't just another cute fairy!
