giving your cat treats? |
| |
| Do you give your cats treats? How often do you give them? One of my cats is not interested in treats. She just sniffs them, maybe pokes at them with her paw a bit, then walks away. One of them will eat them occasionally, but he's not a big fan. The third cat absolutely loves them. She is the one who for a while was peeing outside of her litter box, so we started really paying attention and everytime we saw her use the box we would give her a treat. She got used to that, so now every time she is finished in her box she runs to the kitchen for a treat! LOL It seems to have worked, though, because I have not had to clean up any pee in the last couple of weeks. Kelly | | | | | |

| | Our wee cat eats alot of treats but we do try our best to give him chicken or something of great quality as a treat so that he has it as part of his meal and it is good for him. Though when we get open the box of treats he won't leave them alone until he has eaten ivery single one of them. They are so sweeet with their little treats though. Leo can here the box rattling from the other end of the house and comes running straight away. | | | | | | |

| | I've long since given up on getting treats for my cats...oh, don't think I'm cold-hearted, I'm not...it's just my two "children" just don't seem to care for them.....and I've gone out of my way buying them too, and they're not exactly cheap either...so they just sit there in the box or pouch uneatened | | | | | | |

| | With my last cat, he did not like cat treats. I had actually gotten some cat treats (sorry, I don't remember the name of them), but he was not interested in them. So my husband ended up giving the cat treats to one of his mom's cats and her cat gobbled the treats up like they were the best thing she ever tasted! This cat didn't even chew the treats! She just gobbled them up whole! LOL | | | | | | |

| | Well as my cat is really thin yet he eats loads my mum bought him some meaty food for him to eat now and again. He got more and more used to the meat that now he refuses to eat his normal food and will only eat that. Its not that good for him buts its all he will eat now. My dad says that if we refuse to give it to him he will go back to his normal food but me and my mum feel sorry for him and give him the meat. :P | | | | | | |

| | My cats aren't really interested in conventional treats. I used to have cats tha liked can tuna as a treat, but the cats I have now don't like that, either. The seem to like playiong with us and consider that the best form of a treat, so yes, they get treats, they just aren't food. They are a brother and sister pair from the sme litter, so I guess no only were they raised the same way, but they have the same genes, and all combined like the same things. They are truly two peas in a pod. | | | | | | |
