What are Your Plans For Memorial Day?  

I have no advice on getting the other 30%. I just want to say thank you for fighting for our country. You are truly an american hero for what you have done and what you ahve gone through and wha you continue to go through.

My daughter turns 8 this weekend on Sunday. So we will be celebrating that as well as remembering the true meaning of this holiday. We live near many military families so I am sure we will be doing it up big!

I'm so sorry to hear that you, like many others, are still suffering from your experiences in Viet Nam! I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for having been there and doing what was asked of you!! It is a criminal shame that you are not being taken care of properly in return. I recently saw a piece on TV about a new drug that specifically targets PTSD, it's being developed in response to Desert Storm and the current Iraq war. Perhaps you could get some through being in a drug trial, 'cause I'm not sure the FDA has approved it yet. It's the most hopeful news I've heard in a long time for other "shell shocked" victims like yourself.

I don't know how you'd get your remaining 30%, except perhaps there's a forum on line somewhere which could help. Keep Googling different variations of "Veterans seeking full disability," or something similar. You may need to get a lawyer who specializes in this, but their fee should be taken from back payment IF they win your case. Hopefully there are other vets here who have more information to give you.
