I dont know what it's called exactly but its by Rascall Flatts. It's something about leaving. Also Dierks Bentley's "Settle for a Slowdown"

I would say that is was "He Stopped Loving Her Today." I think it was George Jones. I can remember thinking it was really sad when I heard it when I was a kid.

Well, the saddest song I have heard lately is called Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll. It is a sad song about child abuse. The lyrics are as follows:

Normally I don't like country music, but one song that has made me cry is 'I'll Take Care of You' by the Dixie Chicks. It's not exactly super sad... but it has a painful memory attached to it.

I don't really consider it saddest but it has the tendency to make me fell like crying. The lyrics of the song really pulls at my heartstrings and it is so poignant. It's the song, 'Coat of Many Colors', the version sang by Shania Twain.
