Is there anything that you DO NOT TRUST YOUR HUSBAND DOING? I am talking about fixing thing around the house, not anything else here. For me, I do not trust my husband with a skrewdriver around anything electrical, anything appliance wise, or the tv or the computer. At one point I did, till he took the computer apart one time and put it back together......and had many "extra parts" left over. and the tv the same thing. He is very handy at other things, but working on things like this. So what about your husbands or b/f's?

1. brendalee (4965) | 1 year ago | I know exactly how you feel. I hate it when my boyfriend tries to fix anything around the house. Some things work out okay but for other things, it is a different story. He has all the right male parts he is just missing out on some of those male mechanical abilities.lol. Hes a great cook though.

3. Norstar (584) | 1 year ago | Most of the menfolks manage to do this kind of minor repair work and do so successfully. But if it is a complex equipment, it may be tricky and one should not try to fix it. One may do more damage than any good.

5. gypsylady28 (659) | 1 year ago | My husband was an electrician in the Navy, so I trust him with anything electrical or such. But I'm not to keen on him working on any of the vehicles, they never seem to work right afterwards. I don't care much when he has an idea to fix something with a hammer either, bad things seem to happen then too.

6. Katesmama (3233) | 1 year ago | Hehe! My guy is an airplane mechanic, the really smart kind that specializes in the computers and navigational systems (GPS). And while I'm quite sure he is excellent at fixing airplanes, I do not trust him with cars, appliances, or pretty much anything technical! Nor wouldd I allow him to "build" it himself! He once told me he was going to build a dog bed, he took two 2x4's at varying lengthes, tosses a piece of concrete board on top and called it a day. He says he was only trying to lift our existing cushion off of the floor so air could circulate under it!

7. sunshine4 (4223) | 1 year ago | I am very lucky. My husband is very handy around the house. When we were first married he didn't know how to do anything, but then he got a handy mans book and slowly started trying things by following the book. Now he can do all sorts of stuff around the house.

8. book1962 (9520) | 1 year ago | My husband is the absolute craftsman and I will trust him with everything around the apartment that needs fixing. The only thing I am fussy about is when he lifts heavier things. He has had seven hernias in his life and so he shouldnt lift too heavy.

9. sumofalltears (2554) | 1 year ago | My husbands were not exactly inclined to be helpful around the house. I usually had to do most of the little things that needed doing and for the big things it was a case of calling a friend, and once the friend got there and got started the hubby would help or look stupid watching. The husband had a motivation problem and never really liked working alone. That used to really make me mad. I am the type that when something needs doing then do it.
