 How old was your child when he/she was potty trained completely? My daughter is 2 and half and she has been "pee" trained for awhile now. Well ive learned that if i leave her pull-ups/panties on, she will poop in them, but if i take them off (sometimes all day at home) she will eventually go in the toilet. Today is the 3rd day in a row that she has gone in the toilet and im gonna give it another few days before i put her panties on BEFORE she goes and get her more used to going on the potty. How did you get your child to poop on the potty?

1.  drillerswife (1139) | 3 years ago |  Im doing the same thing with my son which is 2 also right now. Hes peeing in the potty but he just doesnt poop in the potty. We got the peeing down but when its time to poop he will squat down in the floor or when were outside hell do it on the ground. I find it better to let them run around without a diaper or anything on until they get used to the idea.

| 2. AmbiePam (15472) | 3 years ago |  You are doing good, girl. Seeing what a handful Courtney is, I'd say you are doing the best you possibly can. I hear moms say all the time that there is no time table. Of course, pre schools require potty training, but that is a ways off. I was 18 months, but my mom was a year. A YEAR! I can never live up to anything she has done, including potty training. If I have kids, I just know they are going to give me a fit, as pay back for the trouble I was to my mom. LOL

3.  nudshanie (289) | 3 years ago |  I have a son who will turn 3 years old in this coming August and I just started his potty training around a month ago. Now he's get use to it and don't need to use any diapers anymore. In the first week of his training, I have to bring him to the toilet every 15 minutes. Now every time he wants to poop he will tell me.

4.  TeresaK (8081) | 3 years ago |  I chose to let my children tell me when they were ready to learn to use the potty. My daughters both got the hang of it at around and a half. My son was 3 1/2 before he was ready. Once they were ready, they were completely out of diapers, with no accidents, in less than a week.
