| |  I love Marty. I was so glad to see him win the Oscar that I just had to see The Departed. I don't remember when it came out so I am not sure I was going to see it when it came out. Anyway, I saw it and it was great.The Departed is one of my favorite films.All ofMarty's signature sceens are in it.It has a great plot.Thelma did a great job editing.Of all the films he was nomimated, save Raging Bull, The Departed is the best.

| |  IT funny, the actors did a great job but I found I was still a bit bored. I think it went on too long for me. It is a great story. Jack Nicholson is not doing his best acting here, unfortunately.

| |  Initially when the movie hit the screens I was reluctant to go and see the movie - I was not in for another dose of blood and guts. But my son who is a fan of Scorsese twisted my arm to go with him. The movie had me spell bounded!
