Nightmares .. | | I've seen to be having a hard time struggling over this. When i fall asleep i lay on my side, i cant even move any part of my body it feels like i am still awake in my bed but i still cant move. Then i feel a creature a next to me. i am always scared to open my eyes to see what it is because the last time i say a scary face it was frightening . How do i overcome this or even try to wake up from it?

Don't be scared of it! It is a good thing, you can teach yourself to travel to other places that you have never been. Then go to them places and you will see how it is a real thing. I do this myself and have been lucky enough to travel to the places I AP to. It is almost errie how correct my AP was, to the place once I visited there.

The current usage of the term nightmare refers to a dream which causes the sleeper a strong unpleasant emotional response. Nightmares typically feature fear or horror, and/or the sensations of pain, falling, drowning or death. They can be related to physiological causes, such as a high fever; psychological ones, such as unusual trauma or stress in the sleeper's life; or commonly for no apparent cause. Nightmares can be so stressful as to suddenly wake the sufferer in a state of distress, which may prevent falling back to sleep for some time. Occasional nightmares are commonplace, but recurrent nightmares can interfere with sleep and may cause people to seek medical help. A recently proposed treatment consists of imagery rehearsal . This approach appears to reduce the effects of nightmares and other symptoms in acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
