Hands down to our very own Ms. Philippines in getting the Ms. Photogenic Award once again. She topped the other 76 contestants by showing her beauty and poise in the "photo-posing" part of the competition. This year's Ms. Universe was quite very colorful and entertaining indeed. People also considered it as a very controversial one. As a matter of fact, Ms. Sweden withdrew from the event because of complaints coming from her country saying it degrades women. Ms.USA was booed during the last round of the competition by the audience, mostly composed of Mexicans. The reason is the Americans being unfriendly towards illegal immigrants from Mexico. Even though, she was able to enter the Top Five.

Now, Ms. Japan finally did it. Ms. Japan was First Runner-up last year and the representative finally made it this year. She really looks gorgeous and wonderful indeed. Though I am not really satisfied with her final question and answer portion, but perhaps judges might think she could be a very good representative not only for her country but for the world. She is going to travel for one long year around the world to speak out on humanitarian issues like poverty and diseases.
