It's a great game. We used to wear tennis skirts and tee shirts in our team colours or sweatshirts if it wasn't too warm, and that's where the white socks come in! lol. I was a good, fast bowler and could swing a fair bat too... even made it to County level a few times.:-)

Not from the rumors I have read.... I hear that you cover your ankles from sunlight to sun down even if walking in sandals. I get my information from a trusted source.. do you care to dispute? Also talking about that covered part of your anatomy with just one sock I also know and have it on good faith you have children. So sheathing has not been effective. On the 7th day do you wash said sheath? I would suspect that is where the smell is coming from in your local.

I do not wear the sock 24/7. I only wear it much like a baseball pitcher wears a jacket on his pitching arm -- just as a method of staying warmed up and ready to go back into the game at a moment's notice.

That's a wonderful idea, jimbo, as it is difficult to describe. Unfortunately, my camera is malfunctioning at the time. I fear that my wife has over used it.

here in the philippines, there are lots of knee length socks available. and i was able to actually buy atleast 4 pairs of them lately. i, too have almost 20 pairs of them... different colors, different lengths.

You ladies really do have quite a lot of socks,I have 2 pairs,always put them on clean,never smell as I change them everyday,and mine are pink

I don't really need 12 pairs, but the kids come and steal my socks when they forget to put theirs for washing so I play safe and have extras :)
Whenever possible I prefer to go without. I like bare feet and to feel what's underneath at home, beach, grass ...
Plus I like to feel the breeze or just the air as oppose to have them covered.
But hey I have 12 pairs for the times that I do have to use them :):)

Jessy,its 5.20pm,I just got up,its been raining all day,what has that got to do with this,not a lot,but socks are bad,I agree,especially when a lady wears them in bed
