 Hey everyone I'm just wondering mostly because I have young girls in my family and I they're around that age I started havign sex so I'm just afraid they are too. So it got me thinking what is everyone elses age that had their first time. lol
Anyways, I was 15 my first time with my boyfriend at the time, when was everyone else first time?

I think the best way to encourage young people to wait is not with threats or lectures, but rather by helping them develop a good healthy self-esteem level and feeling of self-worth. I think if young women especially had a real sense of their specialness, and were taught to think they should be treasured & loved by their partner they'd be more inclined to wait for one who was worthy of them.

| 7. bestisyettocome (1092) | 3 years ago |  I'm glad that I read the responses first, so I know I wasn't the only young one. It was a few weeks before I was 14. My bf was 16 or 17. The next time was maybe 6 months later with the same bf. I'm lucky; he never pressured me. It was always my idea. I had older sisters that were already doing it, so it didn't seem so bad. At 15, one of my sisters took me to the free family planning clinic to get on the pill. My mom didn't know.

| 9. inncnt_gurl (1990) | 3 years ago |  i was 19 for my first time. i still think it was too soon considering i wasnt really wanting to do it at the time. but maybe you should talk to the girls..if u feel like u should have waited..tell them... make them understand how u felt after. they are still gonna make their own decisions but if u talk to them.. u never know if you might help them make a better decision.
