Flavored rice mix  |

 In an airtight container add:
3 tablespoons dried parsley
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
4 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
When ready to cook: Bring 2 cups chicken or beef broth to a boil then add 3 tablespoons mixture and 1 cup uncooked rice. reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

I have to take food with me as she lives in a small rural area and the only thing I can eat there are fresh foods, so I need so extra things to supplement my diet, especially when they have pasta. I can put together some of this rice. It won't take a lot of space to pack and it will pack well.
