I am changing routers. Present is SMC going to NetGear. Must I uninstallanything before following installation directions for the NetGear? I usethe router on desktop (wired) & laptop (wireless)Thank you
yes, u need to uninstall ur SMC, (although its not vital) but it solves any complacations u will encounter, if u leave SMC software on ur pc, and install Netgear, as it wont know which one to choose from! Better to be ssafe that sorry!
