eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | I must have weird taste buds because I do taste a difference. The bottles taste better to me and I have no idea why? Could this be just n my mind?

2. diillu (4348) | 3 years ago | I prefer cold drink in can rather than bottle. I just like drinking cold drinks while walking rather then just sitting down for it. So i usually ahve can of cola. And i think theres more in can than in bottle.

eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | do you clean the tops of your cans before you drink? I am really curious about the answers to this?

3. omupas (954) | 3 years ago | I also prefer the bottles because of the ability to close the cap. I rarely drink a whole can of pop in one sitting, unless I'm really thirsty, but even then I drink water instead of pop at that point. As far as taste goes, I don't notice much difference between cans and plastic bottles, but I can tell a difference from glass bottles. Pop from glass bottles tastes the best, at least to me.

eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | do you notice an actual taste difference or is it just me? I am curious now, about what the truth is on this. Is there any chemical difference possible?

5. wolfie34 (13858) | 3 years ago | I much prefer cans, because I was put off bottles, especially drinking direct from them, I was told that pubs that sells bottled drinks leave their bottles in the back yards where rats and vermine are allowed to urinate etc on or near them, the fact that I heard the story makes me always wary now, besides tins are far better surely than glass? Especially for the safety aspect?

eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | I have never heard of this before. You have made a point that some of us have to consider. That is terrible because you know a germ is a germ...and some actualy are very hard to kill...wow, this is a very important point.

6. whiteheather39 (13254) | 3 years ago | I personally prefer the capped bottles for pouring drinks at home where they will get used up faster (I hate flat soda) but I also buy canned as they are easier to take with you in the car. I dont notice any difference in the taste.

eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | I hate flat soda too. I quit buying the big bottles because of that. I dont see how anyone can drink flat soda or hot soda???

7. lauriefnp (4173) | 3 years ago | I prefer the bottles for the same reason as you do. I never finish pop right away, and screwing the top back on and saving it for later is convenient. We pay a deposit and have to return both cans and bottles, so that's not a factor. I know that it's probably my imagination, but I always think that the pop tastes better from a plastic bottle. It seems as if it's flatter or something from the can- like the metal takes some of the carbonation out of it or something.

8. becuttieusa (4691) | 3 years ago | Hi eaforeman!!! If i have to choose, i would prefer the soft drink in bottles. So after finishing it, i can save the bottles. Or if i can't finish it yet, i still can close the cap and put in refriedge. So i can drink it in tomorrow and it still have same good taste. But the soft drink in the cans is different. So i would prefer the soft drink bottles.

eaforeman6 (4205) | 3 years ago | I notice a difference in the taste, and I prefer the bottles. I also like to be able to keep that cap on when I am ready to drink it all. I have seen dirty tops on the cans before also, how do you know what germs have been on them.

9. sigma77 (4282) | 3 years ago | I like bottles better because I seldom drink more than half at a time. So, it is nice to be able to close them tightly. I don't notice much taste difference, but I have cut way down on pop consumption.
