The change Artist

I would love to change my furniture around often, but unfortunately, my living room shape makes it next to impossible to arrange my furniture differently. But, I like my apartment so I am not complaining too much. If I did have the space, though, I would change around my furniture all the time! That would be wonderful! Someday, I will have my way!

I tend to move my furniture from time to time. Like placing the coffee table on one side or the plant on this side. The bigger items still stay the same way. If I got bored with the same looks, I will change the setting of my house. I also love to redecorate the small items. Like changing the colors and designs of my throw pillows. Add few candles on my center table. Recently, I bought some beads and decorate it on my curtains. I love it.

I leave my furniture where it is. Mainly this is because our rooms are fairly small and we had to buy things that fitted in a certain way.
We did swap the dining and sitting room over because the way we had it originally meant walking through the sitting room with plates of food to get to the dining room. A lot of the houses in our street have the dining room after the sitting room because the fireplace is bigger in the middle room.
Mum used to move the furniture around a lot when I was young and it was like walking into a different house sometimes.

We usually move the furniture when the seasons change. That way we get better use of the daylight and air currents. We prefer not to sit by the windows in the winter but close to the windows in the summer.

I used to move the furniture more often when I was younger. But it gets harder to do as I age and I get more lazy about cleaning!

I too change it around alot- in my living room- Not the other rooms- It's too hard- My daughter changes her bedroom around alot- she is soon switching rooms also- I also find it easier to clean the room when I'm changing it around- plus it makes it look different and bigger! I love to do it- I'd like to change the firniture soon too- I'm waiting to knock out a wall and then redo my living room!
