Cherry tree wine  

That was nice and thanks for sharing. I guess everyone has special memories from their childhood that no one else can relate to unless they were there.

i like cherry trees.in the summer i like to pluck them and eat the cherry from the stem.they taste so ripe and good.i wish that i had a cherry tree now around where i live,but in an apartment?i dont think so.lol

Cherry's have the color of love, they have the shape of heart. Love them most means you have a heart full of love.

That's so sweet. When I was a child we had banana trees. Every summer, my brother an I would shake off nesting beetles and have an aerial beetle fight. Such fun! The trees are gone now, replaced by my mom's favorite bitter fruit tree (Iba) and coconuts. No birds though, although there are chickens.

I was once attacked by mocking birds protecting their nest as a child in between two Mango trees. I have never like Mangos or birds since then. My sister used to try to freak me out by purposely playing "the birds" on TV over and over again. Your story reminded me of my trauma. Bad, bad Ressie !! LOL

oh ressie, it was wonderful, my childhood was not that 'cherry'shable but it was colorful and fun only times when i used to visit my grandparents to the country home, every summer. my love with nature dates back to that period and it still does continue...

This is a nice childhood memory. It is also presented very nicely.
