Does your children have painted designs on their walls?  

Right now no- She has a purple room with butterfly wall border- Of course she has numerous items on her walls- pictures, wall hangings, etc. She is moving to a new room and wants to paint it blue like the ocean and then stencil dolphins, fish, sea life on it- This ought to be fun! I'm not a good artist- but will give it a try- Will be cheaper than the wall border- She also wants sea shells- she has boughten with her allowance money- sea shell wind chime and her next purchase is a lamp that we are going to hang shells from- We collected tons in NC on the beach last year!

Before my daughter was born we re-did the smallest room as the nursery, the top 3/4 are blue, below that it's green, where the 2 colours meet is a Pooh border - we went with the whole Pooh theme.
We got some foam shapes (Pooh ones) so along the top just under the cornice there are yellow bee hives stamped, all over the blue area we have darker blue stamped bees & in the green area we have darker green stamped oak leaves!
There are also the reuseable stickers on the walls, all in Pooh - we kinda went all out.
When she moves in to the bigger room, we'll re-do all that one too but with 4 different coloured walls & a different set of characters on each colour!

I am not the most artistic person on my family. My brother painted Winnie the Pooh and Tigger on his daughter's walls. He also painted the ceiling blue with billowy clouds. It was beautiful.
