Straight or Curly, what kind of hair do you have?

Mine is really straight & thin, I find I can do pretty much anything with it, but curls do not stay in my hair for a long time, with out a lot and I mean a lot of hairspray.

My hair is wavy and VERY thick. I constantly have it blow dried or straightened or else with the South Florida humidity I'd look like a poodle. Lol! I don't like it, I also wish it were straight and thinner so I could manage it easier and not have to put up with so much just to get it to look presentable.

It's practically a fact that most girls prefer the opposite of their hair. If you've got curly, you prefer straight and straight prefer curly. WHY is that?! Hah. I'm just thankful that it's at least wavy and not full on curly, because really thick, curly hair is so hard to tame! So I feel you a little. Sometimes I find myself envying bald men. LOL.

My hair is relatively straight, but I still use a straightening iron on a daily basis to completely flatten it. If I were to grow my hair longer, I have a feeling it would become wavy and curly; my sister used to have long hair, and it would start curling toward the bottom half. Now both my sister and I have our hair shoulder-length (though mine's a bit shorter than that), and it's straight enough to control.

So... maybe a haircut would make your hair easier to maintain? Just a suggestion. Otherwise maybe you can start using a straightening iron (and moisturizing shampoo/conditioner to balance out the dryness).

Just call US the Puff Monsters..lol..I have the very same problem.My hair is to curly and heavy.I can't do to much for my hair not to many styles.I have spend a lot of money trying to get it straight and it just didn't work..So I know how you feel...

I have very thick frizzy hair and have it treated/relaxed and straightened at least once a year. I have a straightening iron that I use almost everyday and even that is a lot of work (takes me at least an hour to have all my hair done).
As soon as I wash it, it goes back to being curly and frizzy (but I must say it is not as thick as it was a few years ago, it has thinned out a bit). I wish it was naturally straight so then i don't need to worry about ironing it and such.

I use to spiral perm my hair 10 years ago, just to calm it down and even though i loved the curls, it was always hard to maintain and would easily get knotted and I would find many a time struggling to keep it knot free. I then changed and started relaxing it and it seems a whole lot better, however I do experience a lot more hair breakage than before.

My hair is not curly, but they are straight. Usually I dont like curly hair, but I love the hair style of one of my friend, even though his hair is curly. Straight hairs are very easy to manage, I guess. If you are blessed with a bouncing hair, then you will feel fresh the whole day.

My hair used to naturally curly I hated it so I kept gettin it cut my sister always cut our hair. So when it would start to get a little long she would cut it for me. Now my hair is so straight I hate this worse then the curly hair.I took after my dad on my hair. My mother had straight hair and I used to love to play with her hair.Now that my hair is so straight I can't figure out what to do with it. It is way past my bottom so I keep it pulled up on top of my head and with it up it reaches down almost to my bottom. I like long hair and don't want to cut it much anyway. I think my husband wouldn't like it short either. He cuts the dead ends though.

I have curly hair. I used to hate it when I was a kid and used to envy all my friends who seemed to have straight, minimum maintenance hair. I used to look myself in the mirror and make sure I looked alright from every angle for like almost an hour before I decided it was alright to let the world see me when I was a kid.lol

I was born with naturally curly hair. My sister permed hers once trying to get it to look like mine. Funny, I always wanted straight hair, until I got older and grew more content with myself. By the way, have you tried Frizz Ease? Perhaps someone has already suggested this.

My hair is long and straight. theres no way that I could have curls they just would not stay. But its good because I can have it different ways and its easy to manage.
