Does your kid like the car seat?  | |  My baby hates the car seat. The minute i put her in it she screams and tries her best not to let me put on the straps. I have so much trouble with her that when we go out, my husband drives and I have to sit with my daughter in the backseat because she just won't stay quiet in the car seat, she will cry and scream for attention. if i give her toys she ' ll throw them away. does anybody else face such a problem?

| | | | | | 1.  trinidadvelasco (9110) | 3 years ago |  yes, i have a child who used to be like that. maybe for them, to be secured in a seat with hte straps is so uncomfortable or frightening for some causes that runs into their minds. what i used to do was to carry her on my lap for the duration of hte travel. i had also a child who wants to be in there freely. no straps for him, too, but he plays around with whatever that he can get his hands on. different children ahve different attitudes and we will have to deal with htem accordingly.

Kids hate being left alone and unable to be with their parenets, and that's how being in the carseat feels for them.

It gets frustrating when I have something important to do and my other two are off at school, my youngest cries and cries when she has to sit alone in the back seat. I often find a neighbors kid to follow me or if I am lucky mom isn't too busy that day...lol...

I now put him in his seat and I will give him a blanket to play with while we are in the car. It works he stays quite. Try to find something she really enjoys playing with and giving it to her while you are in the car.
