How do you react to woldf whistles?

Very bad, I don't like it at all. It happens sometimes, mostly when I am passing by group of men....it is horrible...I feel like piece of meat...and it doesn't make me feel secure at all...

I think that is disgusting. It speaks of how childish people can get. How uncivilized, how barbaric.

If we are among friends, whistling at friends, that's fine. All in the name of friendly fun. But not if you are strangers. That would be you making merry at others' discomfort.

I sometimes go running at night. And sometimes, when I am "unfortunate", I will come across groups of young ruffians doing night cycling. I can't for the life of me understand why even I can get whistles. They may even yell to make snide remark just because I jog at night. I must say I feel ashamed that there are humans so childish.

I had the mind to yell them off the bike and give them a piece of their mind. In fact, I have some very choice words and phrases that sprang to my lips, just waiting to be released. But I told myself not to be as pathetic as them.

So said, I think it is quite rude to whistle at strangers, unless there is some unwritten code of conduct that says this is OK at the location we are talking about.

Ha-ha, I live with a builder and he's never wolf whistled at me once, he says in Lincolnshire builders just drool.
I was once whistled at by a very nice scaffolder and grinned my face off for the rest of the day but daren't walk back past incase he spoke to me.
