 Amazon, the online media retailer, is involved in a controversy concerning the sale of DVDs depicting actual dog and cockerel fights. They are claiming 1st amendment protection, and continue to sell product which is now a new federal crime. The engagement in animal fighting. This abhorrent proclivity for blood sports and the documenting of it for the purpose of entertainment is reason enough to send Amazon a message. There is no place for snuff films, child porn or animal fighting in our great land.

If the act is now a federal crime, does that cover the importation of media coverage for entertainment sake? I think the courts may have to decide. What do we say to Amazon in the interim and how do we say it? I have let them know they have lost me as a customer until this is resolved favorably. | |

It ended up costing 450.00 at the doctors office and about 150.00 at the vets. For a short time there was a possibility of losing my hand. I don't think people realise just how savage a dog fight is. If I could have my way, anybody who enjoyed this so called sport should have the dogs unleashed on them. I would even furnish the dogs.But if you think about it we seem to have a plentiful supply of partialy evolved monkeys who build car bombs abuse and murder children an mutilate women and a lot of this is done in the name of an all loving God. I still think a major astroid strike is the only answer. And with a little luck amazon .com would be ground zero.

Therefore we must now make the production and distribution of this atrocity illegal. Oh great. Another law. But when the greed and irrersodsibility go unchecked, we then must use the rulke of law to impose restrictions of damaging material. Snuff films, child porn, animal fighting. | |
