Anyone else entered the Daily Mail Dream House Competition

Oh you don't know what you are missing! There isn't just news and scandal, which I am not too keen on either, there are lots of articles which give you ideas to enrich your own life, such as that dog link I sent you yesterday.
I don't buy the papers in the week, economy drive, but my neighbour is very kind and passes his on to me.
I still hope I win!

The LAST thing I want to think of is how many people I can fit into it! It would be nice to be able to have all my Mother's ornaments etc out on view though, I have to admit.

As to your camper van, if people don't like it tough. I hope you WILL visit! There is apparently a very big garden and NO outside water hose, you will be very relieved to hear!

Can I bring my water pistols and play chase in the garden, please, will you get me a big rope swing with a tyre on too? CAn my goats, ducks, chickens, rabbits, noo, polly and my boys come?
My yellow and rainbow striped camper, complete with unicorns and fairys - hand painted of course will fit right in, lol. Well if you can have a dream house I can have a camper, at least then my boys should be a safe distance from your treasures. Of course there's still Shrek to deal with...

I have to admit that like Gas I never buy a newspaper except to save for sun holidays but after our last one we'll not be doing that again, yuuuuuky. I don't have a paper as the real world is too dismal for me most days.

Water pistols are banned! I have to pests here and they may be over 50 years old but they are worse than your two tinies so banned!

Rope swing highly likely at the two antique pests will like that too.

Goats no - too destructive, speaking from experience! Ducks, yes as long as not psychotic - again from experience, the people over the road from me used to have a huge white, bad tempered duck which chased the pastman and anyone else who came too close. Chicksn, yes, rabbits, hmmmmm.

I must be a sad person because I read every newpaper and magazine I can get my hands on whether I agree with the editorial or not and I clip all the coupons and enter all the competitions too lol.

I'm sure those big boys and my little boys'd have a ball, lol, does it bear thinking about?

I was once bitten by a big white duck which took the skin off my knee through my jeans, just cos I moved my foot as she was getting my laces all muddy pecking at them, Dad nearly brought 2 ducklings home fron the County Show on the bus yesterday but decided that as they are off on their cruise on Monday they'd miss them growing up. They brought home information about duck keeping instead, I feel ducklings are imminent which is really going to ruin take-aways for me as I liek it occassionally as a treat, lol.

I'm sure my animals or pretend animals as they are at the moment are far better behaved than my family, but if you insist...

No, not sad, well informed and prudent, you don't get anywhere if you don't try! I just spend book money on the kids comics and the occasional car book for Shrek, so not many offers. I buy magazines if there's a free bag I can use for shopping but otherwise I prefer books. Of Course my camper magazine is different, and Shrek reads it while I look at the pictures and say cute or cool a lot, hee-hee.

Well as I am sure you know by now, i didn't win the house so I am waiting for the next one and will be avidly collecting coupons once more.

Other Half keeps looking longingly at piles of stones with parts of rooves which masquerade as derelict houses but fortunately he can't afford any of them.

I don't mind a rope swing but I want it in the garden, not suspended from the rafters and under a starry sky lol.

As to books allegedly the storage problem is not down to having all Father in Law's worldly goods in storage but the number of books I possess! I hasten to add that I bought them before Green consciousness!
