I am so angry right now!!!!!!  

I live in the hood and I just got a knock on my door and it was a wana-be maintenance man that makes only $200 a week to run his fingers to the bone just so he can buy some crack; telling me that I better move my dog out from the back or they were going to call the pound on him. I have a pit bull and he is within the legal limits on a chain in the back and has never gotten off of his chain, unlike all of the other dogs in the neighborhood. They dont call the pound on all of the other dogs.
Maybe I should explain the problem between my family and the rest of the neighborhood. Well, The mayor of the city is the property manager for our duplexes. Did I mention that he was shady and knowingly allows the selling of drugs in my neighborhood?! He is two-faced and tells everyone that he is trying to clean up the neighborhood, but he has been told about the people selling cra(k and w^^d, and still refuses to evict them. At one point I even worked for him, before I knew that he was shady, and I was recruiting people to actually move in because our little community was becoming extinct. Well they are run down so it was hard and the crackhead maintenance man had all of his friends move in before I could find some real people to move in. I quit!
Since then they have not liked me because they think that I am against them and will call the cops on them. I know toooo much! They have tried to break in my house by kicking in my door, breaking in my living room window, and at night they unlock my doors to see if by some chance I left the deadbolt unlocked.
Well back to my story, They knocked on my door telling me to move my dog or they were going to call the pound. I went off! My dog is within legal limits chained up. The maintenance man claimed that the landscaper (also a crackhead) had knocked on my door but there was no answer. He claimed that that was the reason for the threat! I have been up in the front of my house the whole time on the computer and my kids have been in the living room with me. They hear when people knock on the nextdoor neighbors door!!! That crackhead did not knock on my door! Well I went outside to confront him and let him know "you are lying"!. He talkin about, "how you goin to tell me that I didnt knock on the door", I said "well if you did it was a baby knock and you werent trying to be heard"! I told them that I wouldnt have had a problem with it if they would have came and asked me to move him but they had to threaten. Then I told them that thy dont know me like that to be threatening me and I went back into my house.
I soon after brought my dog in the house and my mother-in-law called and callmed me down while I was typing this. She told me a quote that she had read earlier today "Life is 10% of what happens to me, and 90% of how I react to it." I thought isnt that the truth, I was over reacting and I should have just calmly went out there and moved my dog and just disregarded them all together. They wanted me to act a fool! Wow! Talk about playing right into their hands. I need to learn how to calm down more often. Thanks for letting me vent.
