At What Point Do You Decide That Your New Car Is No Longer New?

Yes, once we take delivery the value goes down dramatically. Still, I wondered how different people viewed their vehicle as 'new.' Does it just sneak up on us, or is there a moment in time when someone says, "This car is no longer new."

The first repair is a good indicator that the car is no longer new, oneandonemakesix. I had a car for 4 days once when it had to be taken in for repairs. It had 743 miles on it and had to be towed in. It ceased to be new for me at that point. Good example.

I used to have porche and my porche get stolen....
So I took my old car and I cut the roof...not myself, I asked car builder to do it....it is fantastic, but needs to be in garage for bad weather...
People are asking me what the brand of my car....is
I say...”Atlantis"

When I was in college I put a small ford v8 in a crossly and cut the roof off, Nobody mistook it for a porche but they did recognise it as an idiot mobile which was obvious when I was driving it.

My new, used car would get old when I drive it off the nearest cliff when the power steering goes out or the brakes go out.

My rosie is off the road right now as I am unable to drive still but we are taking my partners car Magic (so called cos it can fly, well that is what the kids think, it is really called magic cos it is amazing it still goes!) with us! We leave Saturday morning - still haven't even thought of packing yet! lol I promise to take the laptop and will get on if I can! lol
