A number to a good divorce lawyer perhaps? LOL Just kidding... I would recommend cooking stuff or other stuff for the kitchen, or maybe even some nice bath towels/wash cloths. A man can NEVER have too many towels. LOL I have to go looking for one every time I go to take a shower around my house. I also like the crock pot that we got as a wedding gift. A small tool set may not be a bad idea either. However, when all else fails, just get them a gift card to Walmart, Lowes, or some other good company, and let them go shopping for themselves...

I think the best wedding gift that i can give a friend and i want to receive when i got married is appliance showcase or anything that can be use inside our house so we can save enough money because we dont have to buy it.

an ice cream freezer to make home made ice cream...include a book of recipes and/or supplies. a barbeque grill with tongs, gloves, charcoal, etc. a recipe book is good to include. a photo album of pictures of you and the couple through the years with special memories written out. that's three different, special gifts. Of course, anything off of their registry would probably please them equally...but I'm not sure they would remember that piece of china or whatever in the future...I think they would remember the photo book, barbeque grill, or ice cream maker.

I always buy off the registery list. That way I know for sure it is something they want. I could think it's the ugliest thing in the world, but they want it. So it doesn't matter what I think.

When i will give a gift to a friend i like kitchen utensils. Old folks said its nice to give them that because that will help them for their kitchen use. Some also give money instead of things because their reason is that will help financially. Sometimes i see people give bedroom showcase.

I think that a nice picture frame or a book on quotes about love would both be good wedding gifts, especailly if you don't know anything they really need.

just a few tips: Ask yourself what your friends are like--are they sports people? music people or as such. Or if they enjoy cooking or dining (maybe you can give them kitchenware or dining stuff like glassware or china). But I do think that wedding registries are the best these days, since they give you a list of the choices that the couple want, or gives you an idea of what they want. & that way, you'd really be giving them something that they want & therefore use! Hope this helps & happy gift hunting! =)

well hubby does the sound system at our church, so we get invited to alot of wedding (almost as many as the minister lol!!!) so we have a pretty standard gift that we give to most couples (we are not wealthy, but creative!) We either get them a picnic basket or we buy them a really nice large nicely decorated ceramic bowl and put fixins for spaghetti (including utensils) in it, so they have a meal that they can cook relatively easy...

Very nice.....In such situations your participation itself will be a very nice gift.....But we are always in a dilemma to chose a wedding Gift

Dear mdvarghese I really don't know any good wedding gift idea. My friend invited me on his marriage .. I really don't know what to give him .. because I was first time going to any of my friends marriage .. I gifted him a bedsheet. I asked him laters that he liked the bedsheet or not .. he said he like it .. I was happy to know this. But still when it comes to gift something .. I am really out of imagination.
