| | I have a betty crocker cookbook. Not sure how old it is but the cover looks like a red and white checkered table cloth. I have many cookbooks but hardly ever use them and really not a collector of them so not sure why I have so many. Some were my mother's so I will not get rid of those for sure. | | | | | | |

| | I do have a Betty Crocker cookbook that my mother bought for me when we were first married. She knew I had no talent in that department and I guess felt sorry for my husband. Rarely do I use it as my mother was a very good cook and she gave me a few of her recipes to follow. I do have recipe cards I can refer back to in case I forgot the measurements on certain recipes. I can't taste any longer so it's difficult for me to judge amounts by taste only. By the way, that recipe book will be 39 years old in June. | | | | | | |

| | hello carolbee wow! you hang on to that Betty Crocker cookbook that you have and pass it on down to one of your daughters and then maybe they'll even pass it on down to one of their children and so on. and i bet it is in perfect condition. and that is funny about your Mom feeling sorry for your hubby when you-all were first married. haha thanks for responding and have a great afternoon. | | | |

| | I used to belong to a cooking club, and I got a couple of Betty Crocker cookbooks. I use the main one so much that it is falling apart. I was thinking of getting a new one, since I use it for my main recipes, but where can I put it? I also have a collect of the Company's Coming cookbooks and the first ones I got are falling apart, an old collection of the Women's Days cookbooks that goes from A to Z, and has all sorts of recipes featuring each product or a certain country. I really was in cooking at a big time. I still am. I had most since I was in my twenties and before I got married. | | | | | | |

| | I don't cook so I don't have any cookbooks, however I did get a Jamie Oliver cookbook for a Christmas present a couple of years back, only because I like him, not the fact that I could do any of the recipes inside LOL. I think I gave it to my mum, mum used to have loads of cookbooks but she threw a lot of them out. Took up room and she didn't use or need them any more. | | | | | | |

| | hello wolfie lol. shame on ya. want me to mail you a cookbook? alright on the Jamie Oliver cookbook. wish i had that one in my collection of cookbooks. i have over seventy cookbooks in my collection now. whoo hoo! and i have scanned over all of them in time. and give one of the recipes in the cookbook a shot, that is what the cookbook is for. read the recipe first, then follow the recipe and it will turn out exactly like it should. and it is a shame that your mum threw away all of her cookbooks, wish that she would have thorwn them all my way! thanks for responding and have a great afternoon. | | | |
