do you think the new movie will be faithful to the original?

I've seen the movie trailers and I think it's cool. But I can't help but be concerned it will be like the Godzilla movie a few years back.
The monster was cool but it was drastically different than the original.
What do you think? Do you think the characters and storyline will stay essentially the same as the ones we came to know and love? or will it be different to appeal to a wider audience?

No, I don't think that it will be very close to the original show. I don't think they've ever considered remaking the animated Transformers movie as a live action film, so I don't think that's what the new movie is. I'm sure the effects will be interesting, but they're already missing a lot of popular/well-loved characters. I think that it's going to be different, so it can appeal to a wider audience.
The only thing about the storyline that will stay the same, I think is "Autobots vs. Decepticons"
