Are you a psychic? Do you have the gift?

I have premonitory dreams sometimes, maybe a couple times a year.The things that happen in them, usually happen within three months, and usually not in a very hidden way, and it's usually specific, though having to do with the public, or a large earth-concerning situation. not normally, with specific or people that I know.

I can most certainly understand your apprehension about having psychic abilities. Who would want to see ugly spirits anyway?

Personally, I would like to have special gifts like seeing the future and telekenises.

I have the gift I was told when I was 29 and just laughed thinking the lady was mad. Now I am 47 and I know what people are going to do before they do it as well as what is going through their mind. I love it and would love to develop it more I have actually spoke to my mother and mother in law also

I would advice you not to go public about your experiences. These experiences are very personal. You must share them only with people who have similar psychic qualities. I am very spiritual, and I do have my own experiences on the path, but I wouldn't want to share those experiences in public. Not everybody would understand them. Instead you should approach some spiritual master and share them with him/her. Astral projection is nothing to be scared of. It's just that you are able to identify with your astral body and travel in that other world. So, this means you are a very highly evolved soul and you have taken birth to fulfill a purpose. And now it's your divine duty to know what that purpose and find your path.:)

wow.. i envy you. our family has our own history. and i know i also have that gift but it wasnt honed and developed.

I have been working as a psychic medium for many years now and am still learning and developing my gift. It is something that i will happilly do for the rest of my life

I believe you should develop your abilities and use them to help others. If you use your abilities only with the best of intention it is a beautiful thing.

I think that is a special gift,that you and your family should be proud of and use. I dont feel like i am psychic,but i do feel like when i go with my instincts that someone is trying to tell me something. And my dreams always include someone that has died in my life,so im not quite sure what that is about. Great topic!

I'm psychic and have other spiritual gifts and I feel comfortable with them; this is the way I'm meant to be. None of my family have spiritual gifts, except perhaps my son; there's a psychic bond between us. I'd suggest that if you're not comfortable with the idea of being psychic then perhaps you shouldn't force it. Just because family members are involved in psychic activities it doesn't mean you have to be.

I never developed my ability, it just is as it is. It's like seeing or hearing, I simply do it. It'd be strange to me to not have these abilities. To sum up follow your heart and do what you feel right with.:)

Your topic was posted long ago.But I really find topics like this very interesting;one because not all people can relate to this; and two,I have the same background too.So I just have to tell you my story.

When I was young I used to see things I thought was just natural.My younger sister also sees things. My father had an encounter with a white lady,the street where we live right now is called "Diwata"(Fairy) was somehow influenced by my dads experience.My uncle who is a pastor have had the same encounters,and with the mermaids too.

In high school I found a book "Encounters with the Unknown" I was not so convinced at first of supernatural beings or spirits,but as I read through the book I found my self stunned by the stories,that are similar to ours.Growing up,I always have severe headache.No one could explain the cause.My family thought I might have cancer.After college,I had my first brain scan.The result was normal. As I get older,I tried to find the cause of my pain.Had my eyeglasses,had my impacted tooth surgery,everything that might possibly causing the pain.But everything I have tried did not change anything at all.

Frequently,I have strange feelings.Sometimes I pretend that I did not see and feel things. I dream clearly, mostly when one is about to die.I ignore and ignore but still it happens.I kept believing that is was just a coincidence. Before my brother died, I had the strangest feelings.Few days before his surgery,we talked and he told me a lot of things.My dog Ramcy was sweet to him,I was doubtful of is surgery but it has to be done he said.And we said our "I love yous" to each other.Until the next day happened. I had the most of the severest headaches I would remember. A month after his death,I had a dream. I saw my two younger sisters standing near a coffin.I called them and told them that someone is going to follow, or die.And be careful because I did'nt see the face in my dream. And soon my youngest sister's father in law passed away. and still headaches did not subside.

Last year of September,I went to the doctor for again, another headache problem.I was trying to ignore my feeling of someone is going to die.Doc calls for another brain scan.But I waited.A week after,a close friend called and her father died,normally,when I learned about someone has died,the pain suddenly stops.But at that time I still have the pain. Another week followed,an email sent by one of my writers telling that my associate editor died.that was exact date when Ann's father died.So I had 2 deaths at one time. And more followed. Until now,everytime I have severe headaches,its sad that I just have to wait and see what is going to happen next. I remember I saw a huge dog in your house......that was odd.

I think if one has this kind of ability, it should be developed, it might have a purpose.
