| | | | | | 1.  RobinJ (2017) | 3 years ago |  I bought my condo in 1997, and I love it, but you have to make sure you are familiar of the strata bylaws and rules and regulations. Just because that is "your home" you have to remember that you also share the same home with how many other suites there are in your building. There is no landlord to go and complain to if the people upstairs party untill 5am every weekend.but your strata will have rules about people that party untill 5am. So learn and follow the rules and bylaws and enjoy you new home.

My boyfriend's co-worker's daughter bought three or four condos in one building, and we are renting one. She rents them out at a cheaper rate than you'd pay to maintain it yourself, if you were to own it like a house. We are getting a pretty good deal, and she is getting a decent return on her investment.
