I don't think that is the case. Voldemort reserved Horcruxes for important killings he made. Lily Evans was not important.

He went to the Potters' house to kill Harry and with his death Voldemort would have made his last Horcrux. He didn't go there to make the child he thought would one day kill him his Horcrux. It makes zero sense. Plus, the Avada Kedavra curse that backfired and tore him from his body was aimed at who if not Harry? The Potters' cat?;)

I doubt that Harry Potter is a horcrux due to the following reasons. If HP was a horcrux why would Voldemort want to kill him in the first place. Also the brief moment that he stayed in Harry's body, the Dark Lord could not sustain it and came out immediately.

Also the whole interaction with HP around was so quick and so unexpected that Voldy would not have had the time and preparation to create a horcrux. So all in all I doubt if HP is a horcrux.

i havent yet read the last book but in my opinion it hink harry is not one of Voldemort's horcruxes because in the first movie why would Voldemort wanna kill harry if it was one of his Horcrux? i think best that Dumbledore was one of Voldemort' horcrux and its the main reason why snape killed Dumbledore

The theory of an accidental horcrux occuring that night at Godric's Hollow has been mentioned... We could only assume that this only MIGHT have happened if Voldemort had planned to make his final horcrux and had the item that he intended to use by his side or in his possession at the scene. Nothing in canon suggests that one can be made accidentally, but nothing disputes it either.. IF this is a possibility, I would think that the POSSIBLE "accidental horcrux" would not be Harry himself, but his SCAR. It makes more sense than Harry, himself being one. The only way I could figure this happening, though is if Voldemort intended Harry to be the victim, and had the item at the ready, but when the curse failed, the death of Lily was the life taken instead of his intended target, thus causing the Horcrux to appear in the form of Harry's lightning bolt shaped injury. Admittedly, this is a far-fetched theory, but I tend to believe that if there was any accidental horcrux, it would HAVE to be the scar..

Also, I'm not sure of the source of the supposed copy you mention, but I would be disinclined to believe that it was a real copy, simply because there have been quite a few false ones in the past.

firstly, i had to look up "hor crux" from dictionary.com before i am able to respond to this discussion. for those who are also clueless just as i was, it means "horrible cross" or inverted cross.

well to answer your question, i think it can actually happen. i mean, with the story focused on magic and all, ANYTHING can happen right?

i've not read the series since book 4 so i'm not really aware of what's been happening so i can't really say. i guess i'd better find time to read the succeeding books. happy reading, everyone!

Voldemort made harry a horcrux wthout knowing: voldemort didn't want to make a seventh horcrux, as his soul was very destabilized after the sixth one.
However, harry will die in the seventh book, but he will live again: Voldemort, by taking the blood of harry, made a horcrux-like to harry. So harry won't die, and he will provide protection for all his friends, as he "died" for them, without defending him self, just as Lily made.
