Die Hard 4

If you haven't seen it, you better go now. I think this is the best movie of the year. It is the best action movie that I know. The best movie from the die hard sequel. The special effect, the story line, the camera angle, the humor, the sound effect, the plot are excellent. I don't have any complaint for the movie. I left the cinema, feeling really satisfied with the movie and definitely I will watch the movie again and again. If you don't like it, please tell me why, because I think I can't think any bad thing about the movie.

uhh i haven't seen this movie yet but i so want to! die hard 4 will only be out in my country next week, so i'm hoping to catch it sometime next week!^_^

i haven't seen the movie yet but i will soon. THough i don't like the trailers that much...i mean blowing up a helicopter with a car...isn't that too much..I prefer jon mcClane as he was in Die Hard 1

What sort of experience is Live Free or Die Hard? Read on!

Live Free or Die Hard, or Die Hard 4 is directed by Len Wiseman and stars Bruce Willis once again as bull-headed detective John McClaine. This time he is in the wrong place at the right time to be the hero when a cyber criminal takes over all of the computer run systems controlling the country.

I was skeptical and thought about boycotting this film when I heard that they were going to edit it down for a PG-13 rating; in order to get a younger fourth of July audience in theatres. However, as a fan of the Die Hard series I had to watch this, and besides I wanted to compare it to Transformers when it is released. There are several instances where language is voiced over that were obvious to me, however it did not ruin my opinion of the movie and I am sure the DVD version will have all of the profanity intact like the rest of the series. Do not let the crappy marketing of Hollywood scare you away Die Hard 4 is best seen in theatres.

The best way for me to describe Die Hard 4 on the big screen with a loud sound system is: it was like a 2 hour and 10 minute ride at Universal Studios. The action is non-stop intense and an overload of fun. This movie is awesome!

Normally I would not mention watching a movie in any certain format, such as limiting my review to how it was on the big screen, because eventually it will only be on a smaller format of sorts. However, with the writing for this review the film is still in theatres and I recommend that format for this one due to all of the special effects. They will come off with more excitement and look less fake up on the big screen.

This movie is a a basic action buddy plot with Willis and Justin Long and the duo act fine within that formula. Much of the acting is actually overshadowed by the stunts, however, the raw sense of who Willis’ character is remains from the other films. He is the average Joe action hero, prone to getting the crap beat out of him and amazed at his own luck; chuckling and whooping out loud with the theatre audience.

There are some violent scenes were Willis takes on a female in a fight and I won’t be surprised if groups speak out about the scenario or how Willis keeps making jokes at the expense of the woman after having punched her in the face and beyond worse. However, for the plot and for argument’s sake she was a villain and something needed to be done about her karate kicking McClain all over the place. As for his mocking her character it is vicious, however vital in stirring the emotions of the Timothy Olyphant the main villain.

Live Free or Die Hard is a bit silly of a title and I would have preferred just Die Hard 4, however that doesn’t matter because the experience was a pure blast of fun and a new landmark in action films on the big screen.
