Are you a take charge person or laid back

I always want to take charge. I like to be a lion leading 100 sheep and not vice versa. To achieve this calibre, one should be selfless, dedicated, willing to take calculated risk etc.

Depends on the situation. I can take charge if the situation demands and I can handle it wisely and fruitfully. But when I feel it unwanted for me, I used to lay back.

There is nothing wrong in being laid back. Some folks think of being laid back as lazy, but I feel that laid back is just sort of easy going. I'm not in a hurry to do anything, except I do prioritize my writing...everything else gets done when I take a break, but I am diligent on my writing. I've been lax about it lately, but I'm back on track now. Everything else I am sort of laid back over. Stuff gets done when I take a break from writing. I'm up every morning before 7 AM writing and I quit at noon and then back to work at 2 and stay busy until about 6 at night. I don't rush, I take my time and do it right.. so I'm laid back too.

I guess I am just the opposite. I take charge and get things done and it always seems there is something more to do. I take control of almost every situation and take care of it.

I used to be much more 'Type A'...to the point of being driven. Worked for me then...I got a lot done but then I realized pushing myself and others (especially my life and business partner) so hard that it was interferring with the quality of our lives I decided to change. My hubby would ask me 'when is enough...enough?' When I started to answer that question for myself I realized that life is meant to be enjoyed and taking time to stop and smell the roses is a good thing.

Now I am still a goal-setting, goal-getting person, but I am more laid back about the length of time it takes to do things. I have a phrase on our kitchen wall that says it for me..."Today is the tomorrow we worried about yesterday...and all is well." And it usually is.

I am a "take charge" type of person in that I am very organized and get things done. I am not "edgy" nor do I push myself beyond my limits. I am quite laid back when it comes to dealing with people and different opinions, etc. I don't allow myself to get worked up by anything. SO I guess I would say I am a mixture of the two and it seems to work out well for me.

I think i am like you, i think i am too laid back, i cant even concentrate on anything for more than 5minutes! I find myself myLotting or going on YouTube every 5-10mins of doing my homework so i never get anything done from school! However, i seemed to be able to achieve satisfactory results from school without putting too much efforts into it, which is good=D I really would like to improve my concentration so i could get higher grades, not just B's and C's, i would like to get A!!

I guess it depends on what it is at stake. If i think it's very important i am a take charge....but i am laid back too depending on who is with me...some people really need to take charge, so if i don't mind that much in that case i can lay back. But if it's really important for me i take charge.

i'm more of a laid back person but i think that i need to stir up a little bit so better things will come my way. i've seen how go getters go after what they want and would risk things just for them to have what they have. i am not that driven but i'd like to try to go for what i want and not procrastinate, not take my time. i think i'd be glad to have you as my boss knowing you're the boss and you're still a laid back person because a lot of bosses here are really the aggressive take-charge kind of people.

I'm the same way. I can be both laid back and take charge depending on the situation. I think that I am much more of a laid back person than anything though. I like to take it easy but know when things need to get done. It's the best of both worlds I guess.
