Do you have a Confidant

My partner is my confidant. I also have my mother and two other friends that I feel I can share everything I want to with. I am very lucky!

it's lucky for you to have such a friend. i wish i have but i haven't found one until now. when i feel like sharing secrets with others, i have to write them in my diary.

I have a person like that in my life, and I know she came along so that we could help eachother thru life's problems, and really, because I needed one good friend...This is the same person I spoke of in your other post asking who your best friend is...The second person I referred to, with the age gap. We share almost everything about each other, and with each other, and tell each other all our problems. It is nice to be able to do that knowing that your confidence is not going to be betrayed by that person. What ever is said, is between us, unless we say otherwise. We talk every single day, and see each other occasionally, in fact, we may run into each other at the fireworks we are all going to tonight...I hope we do....Oh, and this person now knows alot more about me than my best friend of 17 years...simply becuase my oldest friend has her own life, with her own family now, and we have just drifted apart...We do talk, but not very often anymore, and I have only seen her once since '99, and that was to meet her new son and her bf. Haven't seen ortalked to her since. It is a little uncomfortable now, and whe n I saw her in person that one time, it was very hard to come up with conversation. I dont think either of us said a complete sentence to eachother at that time....It was really sad to me...But w have our own lives and drifted apart as some people do...I think that is one reason my other best friend came along.

Yes I do - my best friend is my confidant! We can and do discuss absolutely everything and I know I can trust her with absolutely anything and she will never betray me! xxx

Yes, I have a confidante, who is my late friend's wife. We could always talk to each other about many subjects - we were both very much interested in Zen. When my friend died though, she moved about a 100 miles way, so we rarely see each now and she doesn't have a computer. But sometimes we do get to talk for a little while on the phone. It is purely platonic.:-)

Sorry you are loosing your best friend and confidant. But Yahoo goes everywhere these days. And just think it will allow you to visit her in a different country some day. Good luck to you and your friend.

yes there is she still lives in mississippi while i have moved on however we talk on the phone all the time

i confide with my former best friend and through the years we had shared so many things..secrets and lies all revealed with the two of us..when we end up our friendship, i started to have a new confidant which was my younger brother..i tell him every little thing i had..including my secrets..now he is gone, i still confide to him and i do that by visiting his grave every sunday and tell him stories and problems i had during the week..all the things that i have in my heart only he knows everything..

Papa Jesus is my confidant, i confide all my fears, dream, frustrations directly to him.. he knows everything even i'm not talking, and he knows all the solutions for my questions..:D

yes,I have a confidant of course.I think everyone in the world should have a confidant who can talk to them .if we do not have the kind of good friends,then sometimes we can only keep some secrets in our heart.but as you know,we need somebody to listen to our hearts.
