| binga724 (27) | 3 years ago | i've also been entertaining this line of thought for quite some time. but jkr has confirmed that dumbledore is dead and that he is going to stay dead in book 7. however, in the magical world, "dead" does not usually have the same meaning as dead in the real world. somehow, there are different levels of dead in their world. remember the curtain through which sirius fell? there were whisperings and shadows of people. perhaps that's also the reason why dumbledore is still not useful in his portraits. maybe he hasn't reached that point of "dead" yet. | |
