Do you the no. of films released in Tollywood is More than Bollywood?

I am not surprise. The maximum number of films relased in India is from Tollywood. This is not known to many people, as regional movies dont get the media exposure outside their regions.

I did know this as my husband is Telegu but outside of India most of us North Indians tend to watch Bollywood films due to the language being Hindi. I don't know if South Indians outside of India make a great demand for Tollywood films, maybe if they did, they would be more popular?:)

I just heard this word today from your discussion and I guess by Tollywood you mean south Indian Film Industry. Tollywood may be realsing more movies than Bollywood, but bollywood is more well known not only in India but all over the world. It is an internationally accepted industy.It is very close to Hollywood. One cannot deny the fact that when it comes to Film Industry, bollywood occupies very high level compared to others.

well i knew that telugu movies do produce a lot of movies but not this much so i am very surprised
