What's the most recent movie you've seen, either in the theater or on DVD?  

I LOVED the 40 year old virgin. It was definitely much funnier than I expected it to be. Steve Carell is a riot.

I guess I am going to have to wait for DVD for all of them....LOL. The only one I've gotten to recently is Harry Potter. I really am anxious for Shrek the Third, though. Maybe if it's still around, I'll see it today. Not sure if it's still in the theater, though.

The cashier at the grocery store asked me yesterday if I'd seen Pan's Labyrinth. I would like to, but I'm not crazy about sub titled movies. They are too distracting. Amelie was the only one I really enjoyed.

You know, that's kind of how I felt. But to be honest... you barely even notice that you're reading the movie...it kind of draws you into it and it doesn't even bother you. At least that's what a few other people told me before I watched it and when I watched it I agreed. I'd say it's worth a shot.

Did you ever end up seeing ratatouille? My friend saw it with her kids and didn't like it at all, but I think she was looking at it from the perspective of a child. She said it was too adult and scary for children. I still want to see it, but I don't think I'll make it to the theater to do so. I am going to see Hairspray on Monday, though, which looks fun!

I still have not seen it. I may end up going to see it when it comes to the $4 theater by my home. It used to be a bowling alley so the seats aren't "stadium" and it's old and crappy but hey it's $4 any time!

That's the first bad review I'd heard about it. Scary? But you know what there's a lot of Disney movies with more adult content than kid content that people don't even realize.

Hairspray bugs me. I'm from Baltimore. This movie was a huge movie when John Waters made it. I know he gave his blessings for it to become a musical and I'm sure he did the same for the movie, but it's not going to be the same. It doesn't have that John Waters flair to it. AND it was filmed in Canada and NOT Baltimore because it was cheaper. That's my biggest problem with it. But tell me how it is! I still am curious.

No, I haven't, but Nicolas Cage is my favorite actor, so I will eventually see it. I try to see all his movies, whether or not they get good reviews. I still need to see Ghost Rider and World Trade Center.

I love Nicholas Cage, too..I always see his movies. I did see him in the Twin Towers flick, and Ghostrider. I think one of his best films was "Raising Arizona," of course, and "Lord of War" was good, and "Adaptation" was amazing. So was "Bringing out the Dead." Terrific film.

Adaptation was such a good movie! He was so good in it, even though not so pretty to look at. Everytime I go to rent a movie, I think about Ghost Rider. I'm not sure why I never get it.

I had never even heard of the Transformers movie until Friday and now everyone is talking about it. It's not a movie I would have thought to go see, but with all the raves, maybe I will. I take it it's not a movie that should be seen on DVD?

It's something that I would recommend seeing on the big screen on a DLP system if possible.

Tell you what though, once I get a hi def tv and blueray player (read PS3) it will be the first blu-ray that I buy. I'm not a transformers fan btw either. I am glad though that I listend to all the good reviews and went to go see it on the big screen.

What is a bluray player? I'm always technically behind the times!
