That's the reason most party clubs, voluntary clubs and restaurants stopped organising them. My club for instance, is now making an effort to come up with innovative ideas like a pilgrim party where guests come dressed like pilgrims and the venue is decorated to resemble a holy place with agarbattis , fragrant candles and flowers. Another theme which seems quite promising is a Barbie retro party, where the women dress like Barbie dolls and the men don retro costumes."

| |  it really depends on the purpose of the party. but my suggestions would be:
1. the fairyland - guests would come to the party with wings; ladies on a fairy like dresses while the men would be in a peter pan like attire
2. disney characters
3. the 50's or 60's theme, even the 20's
4. the east meets the west - chinese attire and european or american attire for the guests
5. racetrack (indy 500) - where the girls can wear short white shorts with a driving jacket; men in the overall attire with matching helmet
actually it's really in your mind. and what the party is all about?
