Are there still virgins?

I'm a firm believer in "try it before you buy it". When it comes to committing oneself to marriage forever, one doesn't want to be saddled with someone who will be sexually inept, or worse, have preferences that both partners don't agree on or needs that one refuses to meet. I regret who I gave my virginity to, but not that I lost my virginity, if that makes any sense to you. And I made sure that my husband-to-be was compatible both in the bedroom and out before deciding to give myself to him for the rest of my life. Neither of us regret it and it's never been an issue.

I find it interesting to note that you only mention women keeping themselves "pure" until their wedding night. Men have historically been allowed to sow their seed where they want without fear of reprisal. In this day and age, is it really fair or acceptable to hold women to a different standard, simply because we have that little piece of skin that tears and men don't?

I think there are still virgins out there. I know quite a few both female and male. They have choosen to stay chaste till they get married. It's not something I did and I don't regret it. My hubby never has had an issue with it either. I believe it's all on how you want to look at it. If you love someone you accept them as they are virgin or not.
