Heavy duty vehicles treatens longest bridge in west Africa  

Heavy duty vehicles with over 10 tonnes capacity banned from plying the third mailand bridge,the longest bridge in Africa by the government have refused to keep off the route. Loaded trucks,tankers,lorries and high capacity buses were struggling with cars and on the ever busy routes.it was only reported some few weeks back that the bridge had started vibrating. Something needs to be done before it is too late
