Sometimes we use initials as a convenient shortcut so much that the initials mean as much as the words they stand for.

| |  I'm a Seax_Wiccan, who follows the Anglo Saxon traditions, and I'm proud of that, so why shouldn't you be proud to be a WASP. Everybody should be proud of their religion or they wouldn't believe in, or indeed belong to it.
I don't think anybody should interfere with any other religion. That's what causes all the trouble in the World today, power-seekers hiding behind religions. So, let's stand tall and stand up for what we believe, in peace, my friend.

Every other religion or creed in the world today can profess love and loyalty to their culture, colour, religion etc apart from WASP's.

| | I'm sorry, but there are people who don't agree with a lot of religions, cultures and beliefs... for instance, all pagans have been branded with the name "Witch", and are thought of generally, as bad, dark people, which is not the case. But, does that stop me being proud of what I believe in? No, because I know that this definition is wrong, and that witches are healers and prophets, rather than evil bodies roaming the countryside and stirring up potions from all kinds of animals. We cherish the earth and all life upon it, but we'll never get everybody to believe that. So, we quietly go on our merry way. What's the point in warring over what you believe... will that change your mind?
You stay a WASP and be proud of your traditions, my friend, but please don't think that makes your beliefs the only correct ones and bug others about theirs, because they have their rights to believe whatever it is they believe too, in tradition and faith. I find it best to just make what you think is the best of yourself and your beliefs, and let others do the same.

| |  The term WASP has been used to describe people who not only fit the racial description (as I do), but also hold certain extreme right-wing views (which I don't).
There is obviously nothing wrong with being either: white, Anglo-Saxon or protestant. For instance: Do you also subscribe to white-supremacist views? In which case maybe you should say 'I'm a white-supremacist, is this a crime..?'.
Of course, this may not be your understanding of what a WASP is.
What are your views on what it means to be a WASP?
