Rainbow in a C.D.!!!

I had noticed this once before but thought it was my eyesight, so will take better notice next time. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

That is because of interference.
look the upper layer reflects some light.The lower layer reflects the rest of the light falling on it.
since light the falling on the CD are in the same phase the reflected light bears a constant phase difference. That makes it colourful.
