| 2. paulick (366) | 3 years ago |  I think that is a bad idea. Another writer should not take up anoter writers idea just to make money, and that is how i see it a money making oppotunity.
I would much rather that this Faulks had some ideas of his own and created his own caracter.
I think it will never be the same as Ian Flemmings Bond.

3.  charles63 (132) | 3 years ago |  John Gardner, another British author, also wrote a slew of James Bond novels, and novelizations of "GoldenEye" and "License to Kill", in the 80s and 90s. Apparently he was commissioned to do so by Fleming's publisher. Also, Raymond Benson, an American author, wrote some James Bond novels, short stories and novelizations. Thank you for letting me know of the latest writer to take on the Bond literary franchise.
