Old movies

Yes, old movies, especially classics, are the ones which I always love to see. I think I can see Charlie Chaplin films as many times as I want.

the old movies seem to be more powerful through the story line of it.i like old movies too.there are funny movies and than there are serious movies and than there are some scarey movies that i like.they all are old,but that's the best kind of movie to watch.is the old ones.if you can find them again.

I do sometimes. It really depends on my mood. Sometimes I feel the older movies tend to be a little "over" acted. But that's just me. I love all types of movies and there aren't really too many films out there I haven't seen, unless they are subtitled, etc. I have a subscription to a movie site and watch at least 3 movies a week. So, yea, I see a lot of movies.

As i have said before i collect after spending a bundle on DVDs and when i tell you i have in my collection Dracula,the Invisible Man,Frankenstein,Early John Wayne movies,Bev Hillbillies,Alfred Hitchcock,Twilight Zone and many others I guess that is my testimony to the fact that i love classic B/W movies or coloured who cares Good Luck

I honestly having only seen one and it was Withering Heights. I know I am spellin it wrong! But anyways I loved it, i watched it with my grandma!

Oldies are really goldies. How charming are those Charlie Chaplin favorites, Gone withe wind, Guns of Navarone, Bridge Over the River Kwai, Ryan's daughter, Ben Hur ...to name only a few.

Whenever I have time I will find some old movies to watch, I like kind of pure performance, few effects, it felt intimate. But most of the films are often seen in young again, and again now, who will remember the past years younger.

You are right, old movies are unbeatable. Thats why that era was the golden era for movies and what they offered, now a days the movies are not a patch to them it think.
The scenario, the romance, as i loved the old romantic movies, and the feelings, emotions that were involved in them were too good, somehow all that charm is missing in the latest movies, and the clothes sense has just become too- short if imay say. The ladies wearing those frill frocks and the men in casuals and being in a light romantic mood, those days were so different. Old classics like- gone with the wind etc, were always my all time favourites, marry poppins, my fair lady, i mean there is no patch to those kind of movies i feel and no matter what we may say or think, i wonder if we can ever get that era back.
I do ask my kids to see those cd's, but somehow the younger generation finds those movies so boring! So times have changed,and we too on our part, try to have and a blend of both the kinds of movies but somehow what the old ones gave us, the new movies are not that good, of course there are a few exceptions so would all depend on the personal choices of people.
