Mark Wahlberg would be my first choice and actually he was the actor in discussion when the idea of bringing a live action GI JOE film was brought up not too long ago. GI JOE the movie has a 2010 date set for the prediction of its release, currently in early forms of production or otherwise trying to get enough interest, moolah, ect. ect. ect. to be involved with the process
