Greatest Band Ever

I would have to disagree. Lynyrd Skynyrd is awesome, dont get me wrong, they were influential and original and does anyone have to say more than, "FREE BIRD"!!!!!! I myself have seen them live (with Ted Nugent and Deep Purple it was AMAZING!) But as for the best band ever, my choice is Led Zeppelin, but hey, its to each his own.

Hi there. I find it hard to name the best band ever, because for me theres just too many... I also like Lynard Skynard, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Metalica, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, The Eagles, Steely Dan, Bread, The Police, Gary Moore among many many others... So its a little hard if you know what I mean... lol

I personally love skynyrd, although they aren't my favorite band, I would have to put them in the top 3 of greatest bands ever. Now my future husband would disagree and say, like you, GREATEST BAND EVER. I would have to say he's close to their number one fan. He's skynyrd tattooed, his car, our house, haha everything! I was even able to find Street Survivors Flame ed. for him sealed and he was able to get Gary to sign them at the last concert we were at. He's seen them about 21 times live, me only 2. Everyone has their own personal favorite, but I do have to say that they are close to the best band ever, if not the best.:)

they are amazing i don't know about best ever, they are no doubt the best southern rock band, but some others might qualify for best rock.
