I pay child support to their mother and to this day, she does not have a job. She is well educated and is employable. I find that I cannot afford to take trips to my daughters events (when they;'re far away) but their mom can... all on the child support. She also travels frequently to folk dances when the girls are with me. Something seems wrong.I am thinking about sending my child support to two bank accounts in my daughters' names with a debit card or checks so that their mother creates some kind of paper trail of expenditures. I lnow child support supports the child and in many cases the (mother) but without other work, I think something's not right. Opinion>

| |  Ask the court to detail the expendidures of the kids and how they match up to the actual receipts of the mom. Ask the court to reduce the amount of child support now the girls are of age to work. remind the judge that your wife has had adequatre time to find work or train for a vocation.

| |  Wow, that's not even right. I've only got one child, no child support, and I'm working two and three jobs. But I still don't have enough to vacation! You need to go back to your local office and get your CS payments adjusted. Just be sure you have plenty of documentation. Child support is not spousal support or alimony. She needs to stop using it as such.
