Would you live in a haunted house

I may sound like a complete weirdo but I've always wanted a haunted house. As long as the ghost doesn't do anything bad to disturb us and only makes an appearance here and there it wouldn't bother me. I've always been facinated by the paranormal. I guess that's what happens when I've been told ghost stories since I was a kid.

As fascinated as I am with the paranormal I don't think I could handle living in a house that is known to be haunted.
When I was a kid,we inherited my grams house and lived in it. My little brother who was 9 at the time insisted that there was a ghost in the house that kept talking to him. He was so very scared. I never saw or heard it. Other people did. I never liked being alone in that house.

No I would not! Because Ive already had that experience and I didnt enjoy it. They were really getting on my nerves. I told you what they did in one of your previous discussions.LOL I dont care if it was free to live there I still wouldnt.

I don't think I could. I get scared at stuff like that anyway so I doubt I would be able to. Some ghosts are really mean so I don't think I could handle that with my son in the house. One time I was at my friend's house with my son. I had put my son to bed in one of her guest bedrooms. We were sitting in her living room talking and my son started screaming uncontrollably. I ran in there and picked him up. I took him out of the room and he stopped crying. So I got him back to sleep and put him in there again. Same thing happened. So my friend told me that she has a ghost and it was mean. I asked her why she didn't tell me about that before. I didn't put my son back in that room. I know that's why he was crying and screaming.

i would only on the condition that there are more than 10 people living with me there!;) living in a crowd makes my fear go down!lol but if i have little ones with me i m never going to dare to live in such a place.

My parents house is haunted. While there, I've felt the presence of no less than 20 different presences. Most of them were playful, moving things and stuff like that. One of them wasn't. That one is gone. Whether I'd stay alone in a haunted house depends very much on the nature of the ghosts that live there.

Actually hermie, I don't really believe in ghost since I was a child, maybe because I never see or experience ones. But I lived already in one of my friends house thats is an old spanish house that they say I'ts an hunted house already coz they can see and hear some strange at night but I lived there for almost 2 years but I never experienced any ghost. I do believed in monters coz I know it's also a human that has blood of a monter, but ghost I don't. And the answer to your question maybe I will coz I want to experienced ones.

I think it would depend alot on who the ghost was. My mind immediately jumps to Casper and Beetlejuice for some wierd reason, lol, but they're nicer than some others. If it was ghosts like you'd see in Medium or Ghost Whisperer, or just about any horror movie, probably not!

My mother in law has lived in two houses that she claims have had ghosts. The first one she claimed had a ghost was her sisters house and they both claimed it was being haunted by sister's late hubby. When he was alive, he was always playing jokes, so they had every reason to suspect him when small things would come up missing. They could spend hours trying to find this, that or another, only to find it in places they could not have put it.~:O

Currently, she's living with her son and his wife. This is the second haunted house for her. Again, they seem to have a friendly ghost, if you can believe their tales, that delights in moving things to watch them try to find them. It seems the dog can even sense something in certain corners of the house and will go the long way around to get to her food when the ghost makes it's presence known. Since this house has been flooded twice in the last decade, I wouldn't doubt that someone did die in that house at some time in the past. It should be interesting to find out the history of the house before they moved in. Knowing them, they'd try to communicate with the ghost.:D

Only if the ghosts were all good looking. lol. I have a hard time believing in ghsots and things like that so I probably would stay just so I could prove or disprove my thinking about the ghosts.

If the ghosts were friendl I would not have a problem, I think if you look hard enough and believe in something (like ghosts) ou can find them anywhere. They might make good roommates if given the chance.
