Okay, currently I have watched two episodes of Lucky star and I am reading the manga/. It is interesting and highly addictive, may I add, and the manga and episodes are quite the same mostly, as it has all of the main points from the manga in the anime. Although, it seems a few things have been put into the anime differently. To be frank or simply put, in Lucky Star, the Manga, it is a basic comic strip that lasts 5-6 pages long, but in the anime, they put certain bits of the comic together, like the first strip with the third, and so on so forth.
Lucky Star is basically about the life of 4 girls who are friends, the first, Konata, is an energetic girl who is awesome at sports, but dislikes them greatly and loves anime, manga and video games. She is the shortest and most childish of the four girls, with long blue hair, and she hates the fact that she hasn't grown, also, she can be quite stupid and admits that she is stupid, but is very smart in classes.
Tsukasa is basically the airhead in Lucky Star. She is average in almost everything except cooking, her best point. She doesn't really like homework much, and finds that she likes to sleep alot and be lazy on breaks. She is also a clumsy girl, but never the less, cute and timid and nice.
Kagami is the older twin of Tsukasa, and is very intelligent and responsible in most things. The only thing she is poor at is cooking. She is in a different class from Konata and her sister, sometimes even wishing to be with everyone else. She was the class president in her first year, but is often seen in her sisters class eating lunch to have company. She and Konata don't mix well, as Kagami gets mad with Konata for being lazy and irresponsible. Although, this girl does mean well and wants to be with her friends because they are not in the same classes together.
Miyuki is the tallest of them all and cutest, she wears glasses because she used to read in the dark at a young age when her mother fell asleep reading to her. Miyuki is very cute and comes from a wealthy family, normally, Konata sexually harrases her, like pointing out how big the girls chest size is and such. Miyuki thinks that most things she fears are embarrising, but they aren't, and she realises they are natural fears. Konata says that she is a Moe (mo-ee), a ditzy girl. She rarely plays video games, but, when she does, her personality seems to change.
Overall, I love both the anime and the comic strips. It seems to be very addicting, as it follows the lives of 4 random girls, me and my sister think that people are following us and our friends as it seems like our lives, too. (The anime and our life is SO much alike hehe)
Anyway, read it on onemanga.com and watch on veoh.com, and maybe you too will like it, adieu!
