| Ok so lets assume that money is no object. Which web design software would you be most likely to go with? There are a few big ones that I've heard about. Adobe Dreamweaver, Microsoft Frontpage, and I've also heard about a new one from Microsoft called Web Expression. If you have any experience with these programs or other professional web design software, I'd love to hear about the pros and cons for them. | | | | | |

| | I do a lot of web design work and use Arachnophilia, which is a free download. I like the old no longer supported version 4 for Windows and see no reason to go with any more expensive software. It does all I need and has for over 5 years. | | | | | | |

| | For the longest time I loved Frontpage - I'd tried a few others but nothing compared. Then I downloaded NVU which is free and once I played with it, it beats frontpage by a long way :-) It just seems like you can do so much more with it - I admit that I'm not an expert and there's a lot of functions (both in frontpage and now NVU) that I haven't learnt or may never use, but for some reason as I'm creating a site it seems a lot crisper and easier etc. | | | | | | |

| | I'm with a couple of others - Adobe Dreamweaver!! Dreamweaver is extremely easy to use, can switch between code and design (or have both). I've been using it for almost 5 years and it has never let me down! ;) | | | | | | |

| | When I was looking at software to creat out webpage I wanted it to do other functions as well, not just for web design. I was not impressed with frontpage. I went with Microsoft publisher. It's easy to use for a newbie. I also picked this because our company doesn it's own brochures. That was the selling point for me. I could us it in multipal areas of our business. | | | | | | |
